A New Sewing Guild is Born ~ Malawi Day 2
Today was the first day of starting our new sewing guild.
We met 7 lovely women at the offices of K2-TASO, an organization that does medical outreach in remote areas of Malawi.

We flew into Lilongwe airport mid day, made our way through customs, visa procurement, baggage claim and money exchange. Phoebe showed up while we were in line for our visas. Yippee!

Once again we are sitting under the sprawling mango tree at The Nile Hotel catching up on the day’s events.

A difficult and humbling day was ahead with Father Francis.
Another sunny warm day here. We started a little later than the past few days and had time for a half hour of yoga before we headed to Kampala to see where Father Francis does his parish work.

What an amzaing day! We woke up to rain and found we were even a little chilly, but as the day wore on the sun came out and our sweaters came off.
